Our Switch Kit is a free online tool that allows you to change your accounts from your current financial institution to North Valley Bank, with no hassle.

We provide you with a step-by-step process to help make your transition to a new account quick and easy. The Switch Kit provides all the documents that are needed to complete the process. Simply print, complete and mail the documents, to notify companies of your switch to North Valley Bank.

Follow these five simple steps:

1) Open a North Valley Bank checking or savings account.

See a customer service representative at one of our 5 locations, to open your account. To help keep your account information organized use our Managing Your Switch (pdf) worksheet.

2) Stop using your old account.

You will want to destroy any unused check(s) and cancel your ATM card(s) and Debit card(s). You will also want to make sure that all checks and debits have cleared the old account.

3) Change your direct deposits to North Valley Bank.

Use our Direct Deposit Form (pdf) to make this process easier. You will need to fill out this form for each Direct Deposit that you would like sent to your new account. This form is used to instruct your employer or other income sources to redirect recurring deposits, like payroll, into your North Valley Bank account.

4) Change your automatic payments or withdrawals to North Valley Bank.

Use our Automatic Payment/Withdrawal Form (pdf) to assist you in quickly making the switch. You will need to fill out this form for each automatic payment/withdrawal that you would like paid from your new account. This form is used to have payments, like gym membership fees and insurance premiums, automatically deducted from your North Valley Bank account.

5) Close your old account.
